Sessions are offered both in English and Spanish; and when words are not enough we can use visual imagery and other expressive modalities. FOUNDER/PRIMARY PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Diana Gil Velez, MS, LP, LCAT, ATR-BC (pronouns: she/her/hers) is the founder and primary psychotherapist for ETA since 2012. Diana has 17 years working in the mental health field in various capacities (e.g., primary psychotherapist, clinical coordinator, adjunct instructor, supervisor, and consultant). Diana holds two NYS licenses to practice as a psychotherapist (LP: licensed psychoanalyst; and LCAT: licensed creative arts therapist). She is also a nationally registered art therapist (ATR), and board certified art therapist (BC). To help with trauma, she is trained in attachment focused EMDR.
