Diana (ETA's founder and primary psychotherapist) uses integrative psychotherapy interventions tailored to your needs to help you make meaningful changes in your life, increase your self awareness, and assist you in exploring new ways of living your optimal life. Sessions are offered both in English and Spanish; and when words are not enough we can use visual imagery and other expressive modalities. At ETA psychotherapy is viewed as a holistic and preventive way of managing a healthy lifestyle and living a fulfilling life. FOUNDER/PRIMARY PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Diana Gil Velez, MS, LCAT, ATR-BC, LP (permit)(pronouns: she/her/hers) is the founder and primary psychotherapist for ETA since 2012. Diana has 16 years working in the mental health field in various capacities (e.g., primary psychotherapist, clinical coordinator, adjunct instructor, supervisor, and consultant). Diana is a NYS licensed psychotherapist (LCAT: licensed creative arts therapist), registered art therapist (ATR), board certified art therapist (BC), and psychoanalyst-in-training (with a LP permit to practice psychoanalysis in NYS).
